I'm gonna go with it having a bodily healing component that restores the users their looks before they were damaged, minus the Zenkais since they are using their full potential. I agree. The only time in canon where we see that happen is with Majin Boo, but that's because he's magical. These weird "magic-like" traits that goes with SSj4 seemed rather impractical to me, which was probably one of the reasons why I didn't like GT. Because it's not that Vegetto is two beings in one, he is ONE being after the complete fusion of two. It's like mixing juice with water. Once mixed, you can't get your juice back, nor the water.

Some water filter companies would disagree and challenge that conclusion of yours, but I know exactly what you mean. Vegetto is a single being that was made from two different people. Their individual components don't exist separately inside him because they are combined into one.
